April Jefferson is the founder of April Jefferson Corp, bearing the moniker Soul Craftswoman — a name that reflects her gift for shaping spaces where courage, creativity, and connection flow.
As a generative coach, facilitator, agility guide, and international speaker, April designs experiences that help people and organizations move through complexity with clarity, compassion, and flow. She’s known for guiding transformation that feels not forced, but crafted — with soul, curiosity, and care.
April has delivered more than 100 talks across the globe — inspiring audiences from Budapest to Toronto, Boston to San Diego — on topics such as agile leadership, open space, psychological safety, and human-centered transformation. Whether she’s on stage or in circle, her presence invites authenticity, dialogue, and possibility.
Her work spans facilitation, training, and coaching across industries and communities. She blends Open Space Technology, agility, and design thinking to help teams unlock collective wisdom and move toward sustainable, human-centered change.
April is the co-author of The Way Through: Real Stories of Courage, Connection, and Change from Around the World (with Mark Kilby), a collection that amplifies voices from across the globe who found their way through challenge by choosing connection over control. The book mirrors April’s approach to transformation — grounded in openness, story, and shared humanity.
A creator at heart, April also co-designed Tabi, a fast-paced, cooperative storytelling game developed with Brielle Maxwell. Tabi takes players on a rollercoaster of highs and lows in the quest to unlock potential. Through dialogue and storytelling, players explore how aligning values, principles, practices, and experiences can foster both personal and shared growth. It’s an agile learning journey — one that uses play to cultivate curiosity, connection, and the discovery of potential from within.
Beyond her consulting and creative practice, April is a community builder. She co-founded global gatherings such as Hack for Good, The Future of Work 24 Hours, and Women in Agile Open, and serves on the boards of Open Space Institute US and Agile Open Northwest. Through these roles, she nurtures communities of practice where inclusivity, experimentation, and courage thrive.
Whether facilitating a leadership onsite, speaking on an international stage, or coaching teams through uncertainty, April is known for her presence — steady, soulful, and deeply human. She helps others find their way through — toward purpose, connection, and transformation that lasts.
